Why Choose Kemsing Water Softeners?
We pride ourselves on doing correct installations and believe that many water softeners are not installed to current water regulations. All KWS are installed to current water regulations. This includes any associated pipework alterations, such as drinking water, garden tap, air gaps, earth continuity etc. Work is where possible installed to 'Best practice' and / or 'Recommended'.
We do not publish 'dubious' testimonials from previous customers. Instead we ask you to choose a date from the year 2000. We will supply, with permission, the names and telephone numbers of two previous customers nearest to the date requested.
KWS is also pro active in new ideas and designs. We have recently designed and made, a legal method to join the overflow and waste pipe from a water softener into the same pipework. This design has attracted the interest of the UK's largest independent plumbing waste manufacturer. We also contributed in the early design of the M2 MiniMax and put forward the idea of the 'Advanced Gear System'.
In 2003 we advised the water softener manufacturers of recommendations given by boiler manufacturers regarding using softened water in central heating systems. Our own detailed research suggested modern condensing boilers using aluminium heat exchangers may have been particularly at risk. Our initial work resulted in a new British Standard BS57593-2006 being introduced in 2006. We can advise customers of any concerns they may have regarding boiler installations.
All water softeners we supply are designed and made in the UK to deal with specific conditions that arise here. All fitted water softeners carry up to a 10 year guarantee. We supply to all parts of the UK and offer a supply and fit service to most of South East England.
